Meet the team that will help you to grow families.
Owner
Kayla Reveal, MSA, BS
There is no greater joy than helping a family to grow – I realized that 14 years ago, when I began my first egg donor cycle. Unfortunately, as can happen for so many women, I had a horrible experience – but I loved what I was doing for another family. That’s where my passion comes from.
I decided to pivot my entire life in that moment, moving away from accounting and into the world of fertility. I worked as an egg donor coordinator for years, and then co-owned an agency. In 2020 I left the ownership of that agency to pursue a more personal approach and better align with my vision for surrogacy with Reproductive Options.
Here, I know that each and every surrogate will be treated with the respect and care that they deserve.
Surrogacy Intake Coordinator & Educator
Ashley Skidmore, RN, BSN, CCDS
I’ve been a Registered Nurse for 11 years, and while I started in medical and trauma, I quickly took a focus in women’s health; working with midwives as well as in women’s internal medicine. From the beginning of my career in women’s health, I’ve been driven by a passion for helping individuals and couples achieve their dreams of building a family.
In 2007, I started working at a hospital in New York while completing my nursing degree – it was here that I became familiar with egg donation and surrogacy. Having seen women and families go through the struggles and heartbreak of fertility, I felt strongly that a change needed to be made. That was the beginning of my journey. I’ve since moved to South Dakota, and my goal continues. My passion for reproductive health starts with education on ethical practices and standards and then advocating as a nurse.
After years of experience in the field, I felt I was ready to open my arms and embrace becoming a surrogate. It was important to me to have a personalized journey as well as having the connection with my Intended parents that created an extension of my own family. Years later that connection continues to grow as my family and their family has stayed in contact. My kids love talking to them on Facetime and it has been an opportunity for my family that has made us grow in every way.

“Wow, the work you do, helping people like us get to this point, is just amazing!! Many thanks to your mom for bringing a beautiful and warm-hearted girl to the world! The surrogate journey was so long and so frustrating, but your kindness gives me hope. I will keep all the things you have done for me in my mind. Thank you! Kayla, I am so lucky to meet you.” – ZT, Intended Parents.
A surrogate case manager for eight years, it is moments like these that make me realize I am in the right career. I knew very early on that I would not be satisfied with just a typical 8 to 5, I needed to feel like I was making a difference to find fulfilment in my livelihood. As fate has it, I was introduced to surrogacy through a close neighbor, the rest is history. Over the past eight years I have made it a goal to personalize every journey walking parents and surrogates through the process at every turn. I have found a calling that embodies my empathy and through this I have been so lucky to make lifelong unforgettable connections. I am grateful to be part of helping families grow through surrogacy and can’t wait to make that connection with all our future clients!

I’ve had my hands in a variety of worlds; from corporate America, to owning a restaurant, through to auto parts. But nothing has brought me happiness the way that surrogacy has. Between running a surrogacy agency for 8 years, and having my own 3 incredible journeys, I realized quickly that helping people is what drives me – and there is nothing better than helping a family grow.
I consider myself lucky to have found surrogacy. It’s impacted my life in more ways than one: between the lifelong connections I’ve made, the career fulfilment it’s given me, and the way it was able to help my family achieve our education goals during my journeys. The surrogacy world has been a blessing that has allowed me to put my empathetic heart to work.
My husband jokes that I’m kind to a fault – but that’s what enables me to make a difference, and truly help surrogates and intended parents in their journey. I’m so excited to help continue the great work that Reproductive Options is doing.
