Qualifications

To become a surrogate, you must meet the requirements below. They exist for one reason: to protect you and the baby you carry.

Your physical and emotional health come first. Every requirement is built around keeping both you and the baby you carry safe and well. We also never forget the family waiting on the other side of this journey, or the surrogate at the center of it. That’s why we take such care to make sure this is the right move for everyone involved, including you.

You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
You must be between 21 and 39 years old
You must have a BMI between 19 and 32
You must have had at least one successful pregnancy
You must not have had more than 3 C-sections
You must be financially stable with no government assistance
You must have a support system surrounding you – this could be great friends or a family unit
You must have stable mental health
You must not use drugs recreationally
You must pass a background check

Compensation

This is your time. Your commitment. Carrying a baby for a family is a huge ask, and your compensation should reflect that. Experienced surrogates can earn up to $100,000 in base compensation. Put it toward what matters most to you: a more secure financial future, your own family’s goals, or the things that have been waiting on you.
